June, 10th-14th | Last days in Turkey
Although we could enter Iran already on the 10th of July, we linger about. We go to Igdir near the Armenian border and are sightseeing the bordertown Dogubeyazid. There fate befalls our digital camera. Ewald holds the bag of the camera by the extention of the zip, this breaks and the camera, still in its bag, hits the stones.
Panic: Is this the end of our report, is it over with the sending of pictures, now when it is only starting to get interesting?
We try at once, if it is still working. The camera is working normally, but it says, that there is no data medium. We look inside, the card slot has swallowed the card. According to our western world experience we have to throw away the cam, repairs are too expensive in most cases. So we send the last pictures from here, but maybe the good thing can be repaired once more. A trader in the bazar in the bordertown has given us hope, he said, this would be no problem in Iran.
So on to Iran!
